The purpose of the quick reaction chipping drill is to loosen you up and allow you to feel a more relaxed and free chipping motion.

Drill Instructions

The quick reaction chipping drill is simple:

  1. Throw a handful of golf balls around the practice green in various scenarios and lies.
  2. Walk to each ball, get a nice setup, and immediately chip it without thinking
  3. Repeat, focusing on "reacting" to the shot, maintaining a smooth tempo, and keeping the body relaxed and loose
